1 pound of Raw Almonds
1 teaspoon of sea salt (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°
Spread almonds onto a cookie sheet
Bake for 10-12 minutes, until lightly roasted (golden brown)
Remove from oven (sprinkle sea salt while still warm – optional)
Allow almonds to cool completely
Using a Vitamix (with a dry blade)
Place 1 to 2 cups of almonds into the container
Blend on low speed until smooth (you may need to scrape down the sides a few times)
